Kelly, a Michigan native, embarked on her Pilates journey by earning her original certification through the esteemed USPA in NYC. As a second-generation teacher and dedicated disciple of the renowned Lolita San Miguel, Kelly's roots in the Pilates tradition run deep.
In addition to her Pilates expertise, Kelly is a certified 500-hour Yoga teacher, reflecting her holistic approach to physical well-being. Her unwavering commitment to Pilates education is a testament to her enduring passion for this discipline.
Kelly's dedication to advancing her skills led her to be part of one of the pioneering cohorts that successfully completed several Advanced Pilates Teacher Training. Along the way, she sought wisdom and inspiration from esteemed Pilates instructors and authors, including Brett Howard, Blossom Leilani Crawford, Jay Grimes, Mari Windsor, Peter Fiasca, Clare Dunphy, and Simona Cipriani.
Kelly's devotion to Pilates is evident in both her personal practice and her teaching. When not in the studio, she finds joy and fulfillment with her family. Kelly and her husband, Sam, are proud parents to three wonderful children and grandparents to six cherished grandchildren. Whether exploring the scenic beauty of the greater Atlanta area, traveling, or simply relishing the joys of their growing family, Kelly's zest for life shines through in every endeavor.
Joni's journey has been blessed, inspired, and mentored by many of the most innovative pioneering artists, athletes and movement scientists of our time. Most noteworthy; an accomplished and impressive career performing, studying and collaborating with various mentors and masters of movement, while owning, operating and teaching at Transcendence Space, New York City and San Fransisco Bay. Joni's 30 year has enriched her with a gift of immeasurable knowledge, gratitude and appreciation. Joni obtained her Bachelors of Art in Performing Arts from Columbia as well as the North Carolina School of the Arts.
Julia's remarkable journey through the world of Pilates reached a milestone in January 2022 when she embarked on her teacher training. After months filled with relentless hard work and an unwavering commitment, Julia emerged as a fully certified Pilates instructor through the renowned Powerhouse Pilates Program (PHP).
Julia's unique connection to Pilates is even more profound as she is a 3rd generation Pilates teacher.
Her devotion to the Pilates method, spanning nearly two decades since her introduction in 2003, has finally come to fruition, allowing her to share this comprehensive approach to holistic wellness and fitness with others. Julia's attainment of comprehensive certification through PHP not only stands as a testament to her dedication but also highlights her expertise and proficiency in the Pilates discipline.
Armed with her comprehensive Pilates certification, Julia is now equipped to guide and motivate her clients on their personal Pilates journeys, extending her love for this transformative practice. Her evolution from an ardent practitioner to a certified teacher is a testament to her steadfast commitment to Pilates, and she is now in a prime position to positively influence the lives of others through her teaching.
A native Atlantan, Julia currently resides in Roswell with her husband, Zack, along with their two young sons, Charles and Henry, their dog, Tara, and their kitten, Domino. Outside the world of Pilates, she indulges in her passion for traveling, hiking, reading, and cherishing quality time with her family and friends.
Carolyn has been teaching apparatus Pilates since 2021. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness through movement. She has been an encouraging and enthusiastic group fitness instructor for over ten years, and also holds therapeutic exercise and personal trainer certifications with ACE. Her chiropractor advised her to take Pilates in 2020 to improve a back injury. She was instantly hooked after feeling the benefits with her first class, and promptly completed her Balanced Body Pilates certification.Carolyn formerly studied and performed Oriental Dance with a dance troupe and when not teaching, she enjoys volunteering at a local animal sanctuary and hiking in the Georgia mountains.
Avery Davis is a Charlotte, North Carolina native with a lifelong passion for dance. She took her first ballet class at the age of two, igniting her enduring love for the art form. At sixteen, Avery embarked on formal training at the Charlotte Ballet, where she had the opportunity to perform in their production of "The Nutcracker" alongside the professional company. This experience solidified her desire to pursue a career as a professional dancer.
After completing high school, Avery pursued a BFA in Ballet at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), studying under the guidance of Susan Jaffe, Jared Redick, and Endalyn Taylor. Following her graduation, Avery became a company member at the Georgia Ballet for their 23/24 season.
In addition to her dance career, Avery holds a Pilates Mat certification, which she acquired during her time at UNCSA. She has developed a passion for teaching Pilates and enjoys sharing its benefits with others.
Outside of her dance and teaching commitments, Avery's interests include spending time with dogs, watching romantic comedies, and exploring various coffee shops.
